My watch got stuck on the train today at exactly 6:00. I sat for the duration of the ride watching the second hand convulse before coming to a stop between the six and seven. I forgot about my dead timepiece until a few minutes ago when I realized that I am naked without the correct hour on my wrist… looking down I notice that it’s working fine (albeit 5 minutes slow).

Did time really stop for those 20 minutes underground? Was my G train in an alternate dimension?
